DIGI-GREEN HACKATHON: Unleashing Digital Expertise for a Sustainable Tomorrow

Embark on a unique hackathon tailored for tech-savvy specialists in the dynamic fields of energy, sustainability, and digitalization!

University of Tartu together with Garage48 invite you to DIGI-GREEN HACKATHON on 10-12 May 2024 in Jõhvi, Ida-Virumaa, Estonia.

We’re inviting engineers, designers, public digital service experts, environmental experts, green transition experts, data experts, students, enthusiasts and visionaries from various fields to turn your expertise and ideas into tangible, impactful projects, and pave the way for a greener tomorrow!

Over the three days we will brainstorm on how data and digital tools can be better employed to support and guide green transition so that our future would be cleaner and better.

Join us with or without an idea, as an individual or with team members. Hackathon teams are formed at the opening night around the top ideas pitched. Teamwork is guided by industry experts as mentors, throughout the weekend.

Services for further development of the idea worth 3000€ will be awarded to the top team of the hackathon.

You can get inspired and learn more about the hackathon challenge, the data, and some great examples of digital green solutions out there, at the virtual pre-event on April 23rd.

The hackathon is organised by the ECePS ERA Chair that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 857622. The event is supported by the CEESEU-DIGIT project, funded by the European Union’s Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE 2014-2020) under grant agreement n° LIFE 101077297.
